March...and rain
This will be a short post, as I worked last night and really shouldn't even still be awake, much less typing my thoughts into a computer. I was looking at my face book and saw I had received a message from someone I'd taken care of in the hospital. She'd just looked me up to say thanks. It was so very sweet. There are too many nights that are busy and make you feel exhausted and question whether or not you're in the right profession at all, and then there are people like her who cross your path at the right moment and give you a reason to do it all again.
I thought that maybe you could be that someone, or when that someone crosses paths with you, take their thanks as genuine and be uplifted.
On other notes, it's raining quite heavily outside, thankfully not inside as well. My dog hates the rain, but this morning was wonderful, went out, quickly chose a spot to add to the water falling from the sky, and when we came back in, stood perfectly for me to towel dry her off. She's wonderful, and is my cheery spot in the mornings after I've walked ten-thousand miles and heard babies cry all night. I love her, wouldn't change a thing that might make me live without her. So, another spot of sunshine.
And now, I'm gonna go give my bed some much deserved TLC :)
